Commercial envelope & usage

Sweep meters continuously and rates in real time, but does not interrupt with purchase prompts. A commercial authorization records the plan, rate-card version, terms version, included allowances, authorized meters and a monthly ceiling. Ordinary usage inside the envelope requires no confirmation; reaching the ceiling follows the configured policy (warn, pause_billable, require_ceiling_change, fallback_basic).

• GET /v1/authorization: the current envelope, headroom and policy.
• PUT /v1/authorization/ceiling: changes create a new authorization version; history is immutable.
• GET /v1/usage: current spend, projected spend, next thresholds per meter.
• GET /v1/usage/events: the immutable canonical usage events; rated charges are derived and never rewrite events.
• GET /v1/plans/{id}/pricing: a rating preview before authorization.

Developer applications have their own envelope. Test-mode usage is never rated for money.

Sweep is paid for access to and consumption of the machine. There are no success fees or percentage-of-savings fees anywhere in the platform.
